Montoya leaves void in F1 - moves onto NASCAR
As i had mentioned in one of my previous posts, i like JPM's driving style but i have to agree that F1 isn't the right place for him to blossom because of limited overtaking opportunities. Read this article in BBC on JPM's exit from F1. I am extremely confident that JPM will shine in NASCAR Nextel cup also(hopefully in 2007 season itself)
The only surprise for me is why Meclaren and JPM parted ways with immediate effect. This give me the additional motivation to watch and learn NASCAR. I know it is huge here in US. I remember watching a race on TV last year and 1,65,000 people were at the stadium cheering...The leading NASCAR drivers like Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart to name a few have huge following in US and are big celebrities.

My prediction on ATP Tennis was good !
It rained here and hence couldn't get to the tennis courts today..bad luck !
Hey..as i said, Nadal won today, a few minutes back(6-2,6-7,6-3,7-6), but not in straight sets though.
Also, am not happy with Schuni winning today...JPM finishing in the podium is a consolation to me!! and yes..i like JPM's aggressive driving style.

Flock, BlogThis firefox extension
Now, you might wonder why i use so many browsers...yes..i do..& thats coz each has its own advantages...believe me..
If a blogger doesn't need a full featured 'social' browser, i suggest BlogThis extension for Firefox. Get more details on the extension here...Mozilla Addons :: Add Features to Mozilla Software

F1 - Tennis - Fed Cup
Speaking of Tennis, India went down to top seeds Australia 2-1 in the Fed Cup Asia-Oceania zonal final in Seoul, Korea...
and as i had anticipated, Sania Mirza(ranked 40) went down 6-4, 6-2 to Samantha Stosur(ranked 57) in the second singles.(won't be a surprise for anyone following Sania's matches in 2006)..But Shikha Uberoi is doing well for the last few weeks..
IMHO Nadal is going to beat Federer in Monte Carlo ATP Masters final..! probably straight sets !!! How about that..lets see..
Also, In the San Marino GP at Imola, I hope Jenson Button(son of former British rallycross racer John Button) gets his first win in F1. Not bad if someone other than Schumi & Alonso wins..i am against somebody dominating a sport and am always for competition....lol..

I have been using utorrent for a few months now and like it..click here for tips to improve download speeds in utorrent
You might be knowing that ask jeeves is now ask.com Check out the cool stuff like binaculars site previews on mouse over and the 'Related Names' & 'Expand Your Search' suggestions in search results screen. The UI is uncluttered and response time is good too.
Check out what Robert X. Cringely has written about the path Apple OS X might be taking..! I do agree with him on this..Here is the link...What are your thoughts on this??
